An explosion ripped through a shop in Balchoistan’s city of Kohlu Friday morning.

Initial reports suggested that at least two people were killed and 12 wounded, Aaj TV reported.

The shop, located in the central marketplace, was destroyed and several people were buried under the rubble.

The cause of the explosion was not clear immediately.

Aaj TV’s Mujeeb Ahmed said that it could be a gas cylinder explosion, however, the cause will be determined by the bomb disposal squad (BDS) after the rubble is removed.
