One killed in firing at Chinese dental clinic in Karachi
KARACHI: A man pretending to be a patient shot dead a dentist at a popular clinic run by Chinese expatriates in Karachi’s Saddar area Wednesday.
The deceased was identified as 32-year-old Dr Donald Raymound Chou.
Two others, 45-year-old Richard Chou and 40-year-old Margaret Hu were injured in the attack.
Police have recovered seven bullet casings of 9mm from the clinic.
SSP South Asad Raza said that the attacker pretended to a patient waiting for a tooth filling.
Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has sought a detailed report of the incident from the Sindh police chief while calling for the immediate arrest of the accused. “Such incidents are uncceptable.”
