Ready to negotiate with govt if election date announced: Fawad Chaudhry
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Fawad Chaudhry, while rejecting the reports regarding backdoor contacts between his party and the PML-N, said that there was no such contact or meeting with Nawaz Sharif or any of his representatives.
“The back door talks take place where the issues are to be decided by the elites instead of the people,” Chaudhry said while retweeting the news report.
His statement came after a news report claimed that Imran Khan had recently met a key person in Islamabad.
The PTI leader said in his tweet that there was nothing in anyone’s hands now as the people had taken the decisions into their hands.
Chaudhry said that they are ready to negotiate with the government, but these negotiations will not be secret. “The only condition for these negotiations is that elections are announced,” he added.
