Indian actor Alia Bhatt, who is expecting her first child with husband Ranbir Kapoor, posed with her baby bump on Friday as she counts down the release date of big-budget Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva.

“The light .. is coming!(in just two weeks) 9th [of] September —- BRAHMĀSTRA,” she wrote in an Instagram post. Alia decided to show off her baby bump in a pastel pink top and a pair of black trousers, Hindustan Times reported. The dress came with a plunging neckline and frills adorning the neck. It also featured full sleeves and pleat details below the waist.

She chose a no-makeup look for the photo shoot. The Darlings actor wore her tresses open in soft wavy curls with a middle part as styled by fashion stylist Anaita Shroff Adajania.

The actor-cum-producer has been promoting her upcoming release Brahmastra and decided to go all out in the recent promotional events. She is sharing the screen with her husband Ranbir Kapoor for the first time.

The film, which is the first part of the trilogy, is directed by Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani’s Ayan Mukerji. It is slated to hit the big screens on September 9.
