Water has accumulated on roads in different parts of Punjab following rain with more expected in the next four days. Videos and images show submerged roads and flooded markets.

Black clouds enveloped the skies, with cold winds and heavy rains breaking the hold of high temperature across the province. But it turned roads and alleyways into puddles and ponds, particularly in Kasur, Sialkot, Malikwal, Kamoki, Haveli Lakha, Pattoki, Sheikhapura, Sharqpur Sharif and Khushab.

The Punjab chief minister has directed authorities concerned to utilize all resources for quick drainage of rainwater, especially from low-lying areas. Meanwhile, the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) has forecast heavy rains for the next four days.
