Expect rain on Eid, Sunday: Pakistan Met Department
Pakistanis should brace for more rain on Eid ul Azha Sunday, said the Pakistan Met Department on Saturday after cloudbursts and thunderstorms led to flooding in several regions.
“More rain wind/thundershower is expected in Islamabad, upper/central Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, northeast/lower Balochistan, lower Sindh and Kashmir,” it said.

Heavy rain is likely in lower Sindh, lower Balochistan, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, upper Punjab and Kashmir.
Rain and thundershowers are expected in Sindh’s coastal areas. It will be hot and humid elsewhere.

It explained that moist currents are penetrating southern parts of the country and a strong monsoon current is hitting upper parts and are likely to continue till Tuesday.
