Qurbani rates: How much will it cost to slaughter animals in Peshawar?

The rates to slaughter sacrificial animals in Khyber Pakthunkhwa have been released and vary from area to area in Peshawar.

Sacrificing a big animal such as a cow or a bull will set you back anywhere from Rs 12,000 to Rs 18,000.

In some areas, however, the price is set at Rs 15,000 on the first day of Eid, while sacrificing a smaller animal such as a calf was set at Rs 12,000 per animal.

Goats will be slaughtered for Rs 5,000 and sheep will be slaughtered for Rs 8,000.

Camels will be slaughtered at a fixed rate of Rs 25,000.

The second day will see a significant fall in prices, with big animals such as cows and bulls being slaughtered for Rs 10,000 to Rs 12,000.

On the second day, sheep and goats will be slaughtered for Rs 3000 to Rs 4000.

On the third day, cows and bulls will be slaughtered for Rs 10,000 while goats and sheep will be slaughtered for Rs 2000.
