A lawyer injured his in-laws and shot himself after a quarrel with his wife in Karachi’s Gulistan-e-Jauhar block-14 on Wednesday.

The 40-year-old named Mansoor’s divorce case was in proceeding. He came to his wife’s house where they had a heated argument. Mansoor opened fire at his in-laws with a 30-bore-pistol, according to SSP East Abdul Rahim, who arrived at the scene after receiving a call from the neighbours.

The police said that the pistol used on the crime scene has been confiscated.

The accused was rushed to Liaquat National Hospital where he passed away and the others injured were taken to the Jinnah Hospital.

Among the injured are 22-year-old Shah Zain, 55-year-old Afshan, 56-year-old Sohail and 50-year-old Rubina.
