On Thursday, Britney Spears married Sam Asghari in an intimate ceremony. They celebrated their milestone with some of their closest friends and family.

People were intrigued by the wedding event, which was kept low-key by the couple. Despite it being a small event, prominent celebrities such as Paris Hilton, Drew Barrymore, Selena Gomez, and Donatella Versace attended Spears’ joyous moments.

The dream wedding hit a speed bump early on when Britney’s ex-husband crashed her wedding and was detained as a result.

On the day of Spears’ wedding, Jason was reportedly armed with a knife when he entered her home. Alexander was seen entering the property, which he live-streamed on Instagram, past multiple security officers.

The Ventura County Sheriff’s Office, on the other hand, acted fast and made the arrest. For those unfamiliar, Alexander wedded Spears in an impromptu ceremony in Las Vegas in 2004 for 55 hours. He’s had a string of court issues since then, including violating a protective order and stalking an unknown woman in December 2021.

He pleaded guilty to the charges on January 4 and was sentenced to roughly a year of probation. Jason Alexander was captured outside her Thousand Oaks, California, home, where the pair had set up their wedding tent.

On her wedding day, the pop star and musical legend Madonna replicated their memorable moment from 2003, when the two divas kissed on stage. According to Page Six, the two were photographed together at the reception reminiscing about their historic moment together when the bride, dropped a kiss on Madonna’s lips.
