Sharjeel Memon blames Imran Khan for current economic woes
KARACHI: Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon blames PTI Chairperson Imran Khan for the current economic crisis in the country, adding that Imran Khan was the one who entered into a deal with International Monetary Fund and accepted their harsh conditions.
“Imran Khan is deceiving the nation by telling lies,” the provincial minister said while addressing a press conference at Archive Complex Karachi.
Speaking about the recently launched bus service, Memon said that the People’s Bus Service was launched on a trial basis yesterday and it has been decided to start the BRT bus project in Hyderabad, adding that the provincial government would run BRT bus projects under the name of Red Line and Yellow Line.
Taking a jibe at PTI, the minister said that a campaign was being launched on social media against the state institutions and their leaders, adding that Imran Khan and PTI were trying to spread anarchy and chaos in the country.
Speaking about the sacrifices made by the leadership of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Memon said that the PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari raised the slogan that democracy is the best revenge.
