Soldier martyred after terrorists attack military post in North Waziristan
ISPR says troops initiate a prompt response and effectively engage the terrorists
At least one soldier was martyred in a terrorist attack on a military check post in North Waziristan, the army’s media wing said in a statement on Friday.
“Terrorists fired at a military post in general area Mangrotai, North Waziristan District. Own troops initiated a prompt response and effectively engaged the terrorists’ location,” the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in its statement.
The statement said that during the intense exchange of fire 30-year-old Sepoy Imran Khan, a resident of Jafarabad, embraced martyrdom.
