Make the perfect restuarant style crispy chicken burger and mango smoothie at home
Conquer your sudden cravings with a quick and healthy crispy chicken burger and beat the heat with the season’s best mango smoothie. Here are some quick recipes by chef Gulzar in ‘Aaj Ka Tarka’.
Crispy Chicken Burger
Ingredients:
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1/2 cup corn flour -1/2 cup rice flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp red chilli
- 1 tsp white pepper
- 1 tsp black pepper -1 tbsp chicken powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder (optional)
- 1/2 kg chicken boneless
- 1 tbsp hot chilli sauce
- 1 tbsp vinegar
- 1 tbsp garlic paste
- 3 eggs
- burger buns
- cheese slices
- mayonnaise
Mix all dry ingredients and keep aside. In a separate bowl marinate the chicken with hot chilli sauce, vinegar, garlic paste, and salt. Whisk eggs in another bowl.
Dip chicken in dry batter, then coat it with eggs, again coat it with the dry flour mix. Deep fry the chicken on medium heat till golden brown. Heat the buns, add mayonnaise, place fried chicken, salad leaves and cheese slices on top. Enjoy!
Mango Smoothie
Ingredients:
- mango
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- orange juice
- 1 cup milk
- ice
Blend all ingredients together and enjoy the refreshing mango smoothie.
