A popular Instagram influencer and former radio jockey Simran Singh, was discovered dead in her Gurugram apartment on Wednesday evening.

Authorities suspect suicide, although no note was found.

The influencer was also known as “Jammu Ki Dhadkan,”

Her body was found hanging in her room after a friend staying with her alerted the police.

The apartment door was locked from the inside, prompting an investigation into the circumstances surrounding her death.

The police reported that Simran had been dealing with personal issues for some time, but her family has stated they do not hold anyone responsible for her passing.

Tributes have poured in from various figures, including Jammu and Kashmir National Conference leaders Dr. Farooq Abdullah and Omar Abdullah, who offered condolences and prayers for her family.

Actor Kamaal R. Khan also raised concerns about safety in Gurugram following the incident.

Simran Singh, 25, was beloved for her vibrant personality and comedic videos on Instagram. She gained fame as a radio jockey before transitioning to freelance content creation.

Her last post, shared on December 13, 2024, featured her dancing on a beach, accompanied by the caption, “Just a girl with endless giggles and her gown, taking over the beach.”

Fans and followers have expressed their shock and sadness over her sudden demise, and the Gurugram Police have registered a case to investigate the matter further.
