Imran Khan used KP’s resources for PTI’s long march: Maryam Nawaz
MANSEHRA: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Vice President Maryam Nawaz has said former prime minister and PTI Chairperson Imran Khan used the resources of the provincial government of Khyber Pakhtunkwa for his party’s long march.
“Despite every attempt to make his long march successful Imran Khan failed,” the PML-N vice president said while addressing a public gathering in KP’s Mansehra district on Sunday.
She said that the taxpayers’ money which Imran Khan had used for his long march could have been used for the development of the province.
Maryam said that Mansehra and Hazara belonged to Nawaz Sharif and would always be so, adding that the Hazara Motorway was evidence of Nawaz Sharif’s love for Hazara.
The PML-N vice president vowed that Nawaz and Shehbaz would fix the damage caused to the economy by Imran Khan during his government.
“Imran Khan wounded Pakistan but PM Shehbaz and Nawaz Sharif would heal the wounds,” Maryam said adding that PM Shehbaz was the actual servant of the people and under him the country’s fate would change.
She lashed out at the PTI chairman for using the helicopter and vehicles for his long march, saying those resources were neither private nor belonged to Farah Gogi, but belonged to the people of KP.
She claimed the cranes brought by Imran Khan in the long march were not even used because there were no hurdles.
“Imran Khan’s revolution failed because revolutions do not land from a parachute,” Maryam said.
