Two soldiers martyred in gun battle with terrorists in South Waziristan: ISPR
Two soldiers embraced martyrdom when terrorists fired upon security forces in the Sararogha area of South Waziristan district, the military’s media wing said in a statement on Tuesday.
According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), the security forces initiated a prompt response.
“During intense exchange of fire, Lance Naik Umar Ali Khan and Sepoy Muhammad Siraj-ud-Din, having fought gallantly, embraced Shahadat,” read the statement.
Area clearance is being carried out to eliminate any terrorists found in the area.
“Pakistan Army is determined to eliminate the menace of terrorism and such sacrifices of our brave soldiers further strengthen our resolve,” it added.
