A terrorist was killed in a clash with the security forces in Datta Khel area of North Waziristan Tribal District, Radio Pakistan reported on Tuesday.

According to the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) , exchange of fire took place between security forces and terrorists in general area Datta Khel, North Waziristan District. During intense exchange of fire, terrorist Fareed Ahmed got killed.

The miltary’s media wing further said that weapon and ammunition were also recovered from the killed terrorist.

The killed terrorist remained actively involved in terrorist activities against security forces.

Following the killing of the terrorist, the ISPR said locals of the area appreciated the operation and expressed their full support to the army to eliminate the menace of terrorism from the area.
