With the opposition’s confidence in the victory of no-confidence vote against Prime Minister Imran Khan, the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s main caravan will start the long march against rising inflation from Lahore to Islamabad at 3pm today (Saturday), reported Aaj News.

Groups of party workers have started reaching the central secretariat in Lahore, while the main caravan, which will be led by PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz and Hamza Shehbaz, will depart from Model Town towards the federal capital.

Special containers for the leadership have been prepared for the long march.

The caravan will pass Shahdra, Ferozwala and Mureed Kay and reach Gujranwala at night where the leaders will stay at party leader Khurram Dastagir’s house.

On Sunday, the long march will continue the journey and pass Wazirabad, Gujrat and Kharian and reach Jehlum where the leaders and workers will stay overnight.

The next day, the participants will resume the long march and reach Rawalpindi.

On Thursday, the united opposition's long march to the federal capital against inflation departed from Karachi. Under the leadership of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman, the protesters' caravan will depart from DI Khan on Saturday (today), while other rallies from Balochistan departed on Friday.

Meanwhile, the ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf was ready for power show in Islamabad’s Parade Ground tomorrow (Sunday), with the prime minister’s invitation to the nation to join him “against evil”.

The National Assembly’s session for tabling of no-confidence motion had been summoned on Friday, but it was adjourned till Monday after praying Fateha on the death of an MNA. It was expected that the motion would be tabled in the session on March 28.

On the other hand, the opposition warned the government of "dire consequences," if the no-trust motion would not be tabled on Monday.
