Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmad has said that Prime Minister Imran Khan has "several cards" to defeat the no-confidence motion against the prime minister.

Talking to media in Islamabad on Wednesday, the interior minister said that it would be clear on March 27 who the people are with. "Inshallah, the National Assembly will convene on March 25."

The minister further said that the vote on the no-confidence motion could be held between March 30 and April 1.

Rashid expressed hope that Imran Khan would win.

The interior minister said that the final will be held on the night of March 27 and it will prove who the people are with.

Rashid said that he is optimistic about the failure of the no-confidence motion, Prime Minister Imran Khan also has many cards, he hopes that the allies will be with Imran Khan.

"The battle has just begun"

Earlier in the day speaking to the reporters Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that he would surprise the opposition a day before the no-confidence motion against him, adding that he had not laid any of his cards yet.

The prime minister said that opposition's politics was coming to an end. "The battle has just begun. I will emerge victorious in this battle," he had said.
