Opposition to move court for peaceful, uninterrupted vote on no-trust motion
Despite ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and the united opposition issuing dates for a power show at Islamabad's D-Chowk ahead of the no-confidence poll, the united opposition has also decided to approach Islamabad High Court to ensure a peaceful and uninterrupted vote on the no-trust move.
The opposition is expected to file a constitutional petition in the high court on Wednesday, said Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz Senator Azam Nazeer Tarrar, while talking to media outside the IHC on Tuesday.
"Members of the National Assembly not to be barred to fulfill their constitutional responsibility," he added.
Meanwhile, PML-N's senior leader Ahsan Iqbal and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam's Maulana Ghafoor Haidri also reached the high court.
