Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman on Monday asked all political workers to march towards Islamabad on March 23 after Zuhur prayers, Aaj News reported.

Talking to media in Islamabad after a meeting of Opposition parties hosted by Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly Shahbaz Sharif, the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief said that people should be ready for staying in Islamabad till the no-confidence motion against the prime minister Imran Khan.

Fazl statement comes hours after PTI Senator Faisal Javed announced that the PTI's rally in Islamabad will take place on March 27 and the vote on the no-confidence motion will take place a day after.

Fazl said that the government was threatening the lawmakers and warning them from going to the Parliament.

He said that the Opposition's no-confidence motion against the prime minister was "in-line" with the expectations and the hopes of the Pakistani people.

The PDM chief also demanded Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to immediately announce the verdict on PTI foreign funding case.
