Baloch people on Wednesday celebrated their culture with zeal and fervour across the province as well as at Lahore Arts Council on Baloch Culture Day.

Events were held at local schools and community centres in Dera Bugti, Khuzdar and Quetta where Balochi songs, dance, tableaus and other aspects of Balochi art and literature were shared.

The Lahore Arts Council also organised an event on the occasion at Alhamra Arts Council to promote provincial harmony and national unity. Besides, stalls of clothes, shawls, viscose (a silk substitute) and cultural attire reflecting Baloch culture were also on display.

On the occasion, Twitterati shared pictures in Balochi dresses and other cultural monuments.
