Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) on Tuesday decided to support Pakistan Peoples’ Party’s (PPP) February 27 long march towards Islamabad against the PTI-led government.

According to GeoNews two major parties of the Opposition's alliance, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Jamiat-e-Ulema Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) have decided to welcome the convoys of the long march.

According to report PML-N will welcome the convoys in Punjab while the JUI-F will do so in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Zardari had met with Fazl on Monday to devise a strategy to oust the incumbent government.

The report further said that during the meeting, both leaders discussed different options for the success of the no-trust move against the prime minister and also decided to take the estranged PTI leaders into confidence.

They also discussed the issues between PDM and PPP that had emerged last year over the issue of resignations from the parliament.

Zardari assured Fazl of his complete support, saying that the PPP would remain at the forefront of the no-trust motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan.

Meanwhile, today (Tuesday) PML-N president Shahbaz Sharif also visited Bilawal House Lahore and held a meeting with Zardari.

According to the reports during the meeting the PPP proposed to table no-trust move against the NA speaker before bringing one against PM Imran Khan.

The reports said that the PML-N had assured to put the PPP proposal before Nawaz Sharif.
