Why are social media users bidding farewell to the PM with “Bye Bye Imran Khan”?
Pakistanis expressed their frustration with the Prime Minister and said #byebyeImranKhan on Twitter after he answered calls from citizens during his program ‘Aap ka Wazir-e-Azam Aap Kay Sath’ on Sunday.
Here’s a reaction that made us laugh out loud.
Conceding the thought of rising inflation keeps him up at night, PM said, “No government faced the kind of challenges, my government had to face. I want to warn you that if I come out of the government, then I will be more dangerous for you, as present, I am sitting silent in my office, watching your spectacles. If I come out on the streets, you won’t have a place to hide.”
This warning by the premier didn’t sit well with social media users. They criticized him for using unpleasant language while addressing the nation.
One user said that Khan seemed more like a bully and less like a Prime Minister during the programme.
Another user posted a caricature of the PM and said, “Imran Niazu was alone in the ground yet could not win.”
“We welcome Imran Khan for stepping out of the office,” said user Sohaib A.
