Mohammad Hasnain to undergo test on bowling action after being reported at BBL
Pakistani fast bowler Mohammad Hasnain has been sent for testing on his action after it was reported by Big Bash League (BBL) umpires this month.
Hasnain, 21, will undergo tests this week, having just finished a seven-game stint with the Sydney Thunder where his performances were widely praised.
Hasnain, who has bowled 155kph deliveries, will undergo the test at the ICC-accredited biomechanics laboratory in Lahore.
The young Pakistan speedster created a big impact in his debut season at Australia’s BBL. He replaced Saqib Mahmood in Sydney Thunder and bagged a 4-wicket haul in the team’s 53-run win over Brisbane Heat in his debut game.
Against Sydney Sixers, Moises Henriques was heard on the stump mic saying “nice throw mate” to Hasnain, after he bowled him a bouncer.
Hasnain didn’t tale a wicket in the game, the Sixers got the last laugh, beating their cross-town rivals comfortably by 60 runs at the SCG.
