Fox News anchor confused over Netflix show ‘You’, gets trolled on Twitter
A video clip of Fox News anchor Laura Ingraham went viral on social media making her the target of internet trolls on Tuesday.
The clip features a discussion between the anchor and a frequent guest on her show Raymond Arroyo. They’re talking about “woke storylines” on episodic television series. The confusion began when Arroyo cited an episode of Netflix shoe ‘You’ as an example. “An episode of You where the subject of measles came up,” he said getting interrupted by Ingraham who says, “wait wait wait, where did I mention measles.”
“I don’t know it was on ‘You,” replied Arroyo.
“What’s on me, what are you talking about,” said the seemingly confused Laura.
Ingraham is an American television host who has been the anchor of The Ingraham Angle on Fox News Channel since October 2017. She is also the editor -in-chief of LifeZette, a conservative American website that publishes political commentary.
The video was posted on Twitter by user Jay Lawrence on Tuesday and said, “And this, everyone, is the greatest video of all time.”
The clip has garnered thousands of views since.
Lawrence said in another tweet that “SNL couldn’t do better than this.”
Many Twitter users said that it’s the “best video” they’ve ever seen in their “entire life.”
One person is “begging everyone to watch this video.”
This user said the video reminds them of a scene from rush hour.
Some Twitter users however were very skeptical and said that it’s scripted.
The clip caught the attention of the lead actor of the show Pen Badgley who tweeted, “Definitely a bit. His delivery is great tho.”
