All political parties should move forward towards electoral reforms, says Fawad

The Minister emphasized that all political parties should cooperate to build up an electoral system under which entire leadership will have the trust on results and it will be a success of political system.
“It will be a great success for our political system if an electoral system is set up under which all the leaders are able to trust election results,” he said.
Earlier this month Fawad confirmed in a post-cabinet meeting press briefing that Prime Minister Imran Khan had sought the support of PTI's allies for electoral reforms.
The government then had postponed a joint session of the parliament as the coalition parties had reservations about the electoral reforms bill.
The joint session had been called by the government to pass the National Accountability Bureau Ordinance (Amendment) Bill and electoral reforms bill.
