Protest at Balochistan university over missing students

Papers cancelled as protesting students seek recovery of missing colleagues

Students at the University of Balochistan, Quetta, on Tuesday boycotted exams as part of a protest demanding the recovery of two students who have been missing since November 5, reported Aaj News.

During the demonstrations, the students barred the main entrance of the university and blocking the traffic follow. The protest also led to the cancellation of papers in some departments of the University of Balochistan.

The student union had also held a rally to protest against their disappearance two days ago. Students say they will continue their protest till the recovery of the missing students.

Sharing the pictures of the two missing students, social media users demanded immediate recovery of them. As per details, the students who are missing are residents of Nushki district who were living at the university’s hostel.

Concerned citizens also shared pictures of today's protest outside the Balochistan university main gate on social media while calling for efforts to ensure their safe recovery.
