Imran Khan should resign after Daska by-poll report: Shehbaz Sharif
LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President and Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif has said that prime minister Imran Khan should resign after the Election of Pakistan (ECP) released a report regarding rigging in Daska by-election.
Shehbaz said that if Imran Niazi has the slightest respect for the law, democracy, and political ethics, then he should resign.
In an official statement, Shehbaz said that three days have passed and no action has been taken on the Daska inquiry report of the ECP. “Should it be called NRO? Imran Niazi says that the people do not understand the reasons behind the rise in inflation,” he maintained.
He said that the government is inflicting more oppression on the nation by buying the most expensive LNG in history.
"From flour to medicine, from sugar to LNG, corruption, incompetence and looting are on the rise," he said.
Shehbaz further said that people will have to pay the price of criminal behavior of the government, this regime can only be termed as “unjust regime of a mindless king".
The PML-N president said that those who believe in the Constitution, democracy, and the interest of the nation will join hands with Opposition parties to thwart the present government's "dark plan to enslave people."
