Price of petroleum products expected to increase from Nov 1
Another hike in the prices of petroleum products is expected from November 1 due to continuous depreciation of Pakistani rupee and soaring oil prices in international markets, according to a News report.
Quoting sources, the report said price of petrol is expected to increase by Rs7 per litre and high speed diesel by Rs9 per litre.
According to the report the fluctuations in imported oil prices during the remaining days of the month of October will determine the final price.
It is pertinent to mention that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf-led government hiked the prices of petrol three times since September 16.
The government also increased power tariff by Rs1.39 per unit which would come into effect from next month.
