Recently, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf-led federal government hiked the price of petrol by Rs10.49 per litre which led to a new wave of inflation across the country.
Within the span of less than one-and-a-half month the government raised petrol prices by Rs19.49 per litre, while the prices of other petroleum products have also been increased.
