ISLAMABAD: Noor Mukadam's father Shoukat Ali Mukadam Thursday challenged the bail granted to the therapyworks' employees including its owner Tahir Zahoor in Islamabad High Court (IHC).

Additional Sessions Judge (ASJ) Muhammad Ata Rabbani Monday had granted bail to the six employees including the owner and chief executive officer (CEO) Tahir Zahoor. The judge had also ordered them to submit bail bonds of Rs5 million each.

Shoukat Mukadam, in his petition, asked to revoke the bail granted to six suspects in the interest of justice.

Shaukat maintained that the officials of Therapy Works were present when the gruesome murder occurred.

The sessions judge had made observations about the evaluation of evidence and avoided the rules laid down by the Supreme Court when granting bail to the suspects, read the petition.

Shoukat Mukadam in his application said that the Therapy Works CEO and employees are misusing their bail and are threatening the petitioner with dire consequences.

It also alleged that the suspects had concealed information about receiving injuries at the crime scene.

Shaukat Mukadam pleaded the court to nullify the sessions court’s orders and repeal the bail granted to the suspects.
