Bollywood actors Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan have been protective about their second son's name but in the second week of July, reports emerged they'd named him Jeh. Now it's appearing the name is Jehangir.

They Bollywood couple chose to be silent about this name following backlash for naming their first son, born in 2016, Taimur, because people felt he'd been named after a cruel king.

The second son's name was initially revealed as Jeh by Kareena's father, filmmaker Randhir Kapoor and various news media outlets quoted an astrologer's explanation of the name being Parsi in origin and one that meant the child would bring joy in their lives.

But a story in Bollywood Hungama on Monday claims the Jeh is short for Jehangir.

The information came to light in Kapoor's book ‘Kareena Kapoor Khan's Pregnancy Bible: The Ultimate Manual for Moms-To-Be’ in which she shares images and stories about her own pregnancy. It is in one of the images of her pregnant self that she captioned the image "Jehangir" and there's an image of the child as well.

The parents have been fiercely protective of their second son not sharing pictures of his face unlike the first time. But at least now the world knows his name.
