LAHORE: The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) on Sunday killed three terrorists in Ferozwala area of Lahore.
According to the CTD spokesperson all the three terrorists hailed from Afghanistan and were plotting to sabotage Muharram gatherings in Pakistan.
The terrorists, identified as Naimatullah, Ahsanullah and Abdus Salam, were shot dead in an encounter. the spokesperson added.
A large number of weapons including suicide jackets, hand grenades and Kalashnikovs were recovered from the dead terrorists.
