Kashmir Premier League to kick off today
With thousands of cricket fans awaiting to watch matches in the stadium amid the coronavirus, Kashmir Premier League will kick off today (on Friday).
The opening ceremony of the event will be held in Muzaffarabad, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, cricket stadium at 6pm, while the first match between Mirpur Royals and Rawlakot Hawks will start at 8: 30pm.
Shoaib Malik, who is the captain of Mirpur Royals, is hopeful that his team will win the league.

As the preparations of the event have been completed, the enthusiastic players performed a photo shoot in a Muzaffarabad hotel.
The management of the league has placed the players, management and other staff related of the league in a bio-secure bubble for their safety to protect them from the coronavirus, reported Geo News.
