Opposition decides to move no-confidence motion against Asad Qaisar
Opposition, on Wednesday, has decided to move a no-confidence motion against Speaker of the National Assembly, Asad Qaiser.
Leaders of the opposition parties decided to form a committee that would draft a plan of action to move the no-confidence motion.
The opposition said that the Speaker had failed to fulfil his constitutional, legal, democratic, and parliamentary responsibilities. Speaker was the protector of every parliament member, they added.
According to the sources the leaders rejected Speaker's move to ban 7 MNAs and demanded the formation of a parliamentary committee with equal representation from both treasury and opposition benches to probe the ruckus.
