Sindh cabinet approves 20% raise in salaries of govt employees
KARACHI: The Sindh Cabinet has approved an increase of 20% in the salary of government employees and set minimum wage at Rs25,000 ahead of the budget for fiscal year 2021-22.
Taking on twitter, Sindh government spokesperson Murtaza Wahab confirmed that the Sindh cabinet had approved a 20 per cent increase in the salaries of government employees.

Murtaza Wahab said that the provincial cabinet has also approved a minimum wage of Rs 25,000. No new tax would be imposed in the budget for the next financial year, he added.
On the other hand, a meeting of the cabinet chaired by Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah has approved a budget of Rs 1.477 trillion for the fiscal year 22-2021.
