PM reiterates to continue efforts for Muslim Ummah
Prime Minister Imran Khan has reiterated to continue efforts for solidarity of Muslim Ummah and directed his Special Representative for Religious Harmony to keep close contact with Ulema and Mashaikh in this regard.
He was talking to his Special Representative for Religious Harmony Maulana Tahir Ashrafi, who called on him in Islamabad to discuss religious matters and issues faced by the Ummah.
The Prime Minister underlined the role of mosques and pulpits to address the issues confronted by Muslims and significance of awareness about Seerah of the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad Rasool Allah Khatumnabiyyin Sallallaho Alahe Wa Alayhi Wa Ashabehi Wassalam.
During the meeting, they also discussed matters related to the committee headed by Minister for Religious Affairs regarding Waqaf Properties Act and its positive role with regard to removal of apprehensions of Ulema and Mashaikhs.
Maulana Tahir Ashrafi lauded the Prime Minister’s stance on Palestine issue and the government’s efforts at the international level in this regard.
