WAZIRABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Vice President Maryam Nawaz has said that when she talked about Punjab in Daska, the government got upset. She said that Punjab has become an orphan without Nawaz and Shehbaz Sharif.

Addressing a rally in Wazirabad, Maryam Nawaz said that she is a daughter of Punjab, why shouldn't she talk about Punjab.

She said that they have said that I am playing Punjab card. When I go to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, I talk about them adding that Maryam Nawaz is a daughter of Pakistan.

She said that "I am not here to ask for votes, I have come to remind you of the days of Nawaz Sharif and Shehbaz Sharif."

Maryam said that today everyone including traders, farmers and laborers are being humiliated. People have no money for bread, milk, flour and sugar. She told workers that Nawaz Sharif will come and everything will be fine.

Maryam Nawaz alleged that Rs 500 billion worth of medicines were stolen, Rs 15,000 billion was borrowed and not a single brick was laid. She said that when it comes to snatching flour and sugar from Punjab, I will always stand by the Punjabis. NNI
