Four including two Rangers injured in Karachi cracker attack
KARACHI: In the seventh attack on Sindh Rangers this year, unidentified terrorists used a cracker at the entrance of Karachi University and escaped, injuring four people including two Rangers.
Sindh Rangers have previously been attacked in Gulistan-e-Jauhar, Liaquatabad, Sachal, Ghotki and Larkana this year. Today, terrorists attempted to attack Sheikh Zayed Islamic Centre which was foiled by Rangers.
One of the terrorists tried to enter the university premises, but security forces pushed the terrorist out.
On encountering resistance, the terrorists threw the cracker at the gate and fled. The impact of the explosion was reduced as the door was closed. It is said that the terrorists wanted to inflict heavy damage after entering inside the university. NNI
