LONDON: Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) leader Mian Nawaz Sharif, while announcing to intensify the political struggle, has said that what is happening has increased our spirit.

Addressing the party s Central Executive Committee Nawaz Sharif said that I am sad over arrest of Shehbaz Sharif, adding that it was totally unprecedented what was happening to their children who honestly served the nation and the country.

He said that I pay tribute to him for serving the nation and we will intensify our struggle. He also lauded the role of his other party leaders including Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and Khawaja Asif.

He told his party leaders that if they played their "role by enduring the hardships with courage”, then the nation will be saved from all its troubles.

"I also salute those government officials who played a role in ending the energy shortage," Nawaz said.
