Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rashid Ahmed on Saturday in a presser asked the deposed premier and PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif to share the 'details of the calls made to Indian prime minister Modi from outside of Pakistan.

“Why did you call the head of the enemy state India from outside Pakistan. Did you feel threatened that your calls were against national security and will be leaked?” asked Rashid in a press conference in Lahore and added, "Nawaz Sharif should tell who gave the address of Ajmal Kasab to India.” He was referring to the accused in the 2008 Mumbai attack.

In his press conference, Rashid accused Sharif of taking 'charity from Osama Bin Laden' and taking money from Qatar for elections:

"How much money did you [Nawaz] spend in 2013 elections and how much money did you receive through Saif ur Rehman from Qatar. The nation should be taken into confidence on how much amount did [Nawaz] receive from Qatar for the elections.”

Rashid's press conference came a few days after Nawaz gave a highly incendiary speech at PPP-hosted multi-parties gathering to devise an anti-government strategy.

In his speech, the former prime minister had accused the current government of 'selling Kashmiris to India'. He said that the 'selected' government has failed Kashmir due to its ineffective foreign policy.

While referring to Nawaz's comments about democracy and rule of Law, Rashid said:

“You [Sharif] made an excuse of illness and left the county.”

The railway minister informed the media that he expects that PML-N will respond to his questions by Monday.
