NAB postpones Maryam's hearing after clash between outraged PML-N workers, police
PML-N workers and police clashed outside the National Accountability Bureau's office, ahead of party leader Maryam Nawaz's visit to the anti-graft body's office.
NAB on Tuesday dismissed the hearing after a scuffle broke out between PML-N workers and police personnel. However, Maryam Nawaz reached the NAB office and insisted that she will not leave without submitting a response.
While speaking outside the NAB office, Maryam Nawaz said, "I am here to respond to the false allegations, I will not leave until I respond. My car was under attack. I am standing here, If you have summoned me, have the courage to listen to me."
On the other hand CM Punjab took notice of the incident and sought a report from Chief Secretary and IG Punjab.
Earlier, Maryam Nawaz reached the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) office for hearing in a case pertaining to illegally acquiring 200 acres of land in Raiwind.
