I'm Feeling Much Better Now : Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad
Railway Minister Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad has been fighting COVID-19 for a few days now. He was tested positive on 8th June and had been in self-isolation since then. Last night, he was rushed to Military Hospital Rawalpindi where he was treated for his symptoms.
He released a statement from the hospital today and updated the public about his health situation. He said:
"I'm being treated at Military Hospital Rawalpindi for COVID-19. Doctors and nurses of the hospital are treating me to the best of their abilities. Alhamdulillah, I'm feeling better today in comparison with last night."
The vocal Pindi legislator also thanked his fans and loved ones for remembering him in their prayers.
"I'm very grateful for the people who are praying for my recovery."
Awami Muslim League founder requested the nation to understand the gravity of the situation and to follow the government's guidelines strictly. He said:
"I urge the public to please take COVID-19 seriously. Everyone must take proper precautionary measures and stay at their homes."
Today, President Dr. Arif Alvi called Sheikh Rasheed to inquire about his health and wished him a speedy recovery. Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser also called the minister and wished him good health.
