PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif has tested positive for coronavirus, party spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb confirmed on Thursday.

Shehbaz appeared before NAB on June 9 in cases pertaining to assets beyond know source of income. However, before his appearance he had requested the bureau to question him via Skype as he was a cancer patient and was afraid he might get infected with the virus.

Aurangzeb, former PM Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and Ahsan Iqbal are some of the leaders who have tested positive for the COVID-19.
