Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) leader Faisal Sabzwari, his wife, parents and two daughters have tested positive for the novel coronavirus, he confirmed Thursday.

Taking onto Twitter, Sabzwari asked people to pray for his family and advised them to take precautionary measures to protect themselves from the virus.

He said his coronavirus test came out positive today. In the past few days, "my parents, my wife, and two of my [three] daughters contracted the virus", he said on Twitter.
