It's day 267383988 of lockdown and isolation and while everyone else seems to lose their mind out of boredom, film and TV actor Saba Qamar seems to be making the best of her time. Qamar has taken the time and opportunity to stay connected with her fan and followers via youtube and premiered the first video on her youtube channel on April 21. The content she's been putting up is pure gold where she seems to vent out her frustration during isolation, her search for ownself, little moments of pure joy, and much much more.

What's interesting about her content is that it can't be qualified as Vlogs but has a genre of its own. It's not natural but is for sure unfiltered and aesthetically pleasing. Qamar has never shied away from voicing her views and has always responded towards her haters with a certain grace and wit and that same shrewdness is evident in her content.

What do you do when someone calls you Kan*ari or Kan*ar merely because you have opted for a profession in the entertainment industry? Well! pros like Saba don't take offense, they simply put on a smile and tell you to back off. In episode 2 of her Youtube career titled "The unfiltered side of Saba Qamar", she laughs while reading a comment on her Instagram, calling her a Kan*ari.

"Someone is saying Kan*ari, I don't mind," she says and adds, "a Kan*ar is an entertainer, it's not a bad word. They should write something else."

The acuity doesn't stop there and Qamar continues to entertain us in yet another outstanding episode where she calls out every bad interviewer she has come across with. (We're sure there are plenty). The third episode is a mimicry of talk shows and the way actors are presented by the hosts. From hosts focus on physical appearance to their absolute efforts to somehow put down their interviewee, Saba's 'The Chay Show' points out, all that's wrong with our talk shows. The repetitive questions asked by hosts from female actors about their love affairs and marriage to casual sexism and ageism, all have been pointed out by the versatile actor in a very clever way. We do hope some of our hosts learn a lesson or two.

These comedy sketches cum Vlogs by Saba are keeping us entertained while we deal with this lockdown. Keep them coming Saba!!
