Sindh recorded highest single-day Coronavirus deaths: Murad Ali

Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah has said that the province has reported the highest number of casualties due to Covid-19.

In a video message, Murad Shah said that 14 people lost their lives due to Coronavirus on May 07, which he termed alarming.

“Around 453 cases of Coronavirus were diagnosed in Sindh in last 24 hours, while 14 casualties were reported. We have conducted 3534 tests out of which 453 have tested positive,” he said.

Sindh's coronavirus tally reached 9093 on Thursday after 453 more people tested positive for the virus in the province.

Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah announced 14 new deaths, which is the highest single-day death tally. Sindh has now lost 171 people to coronavirus

CM Sindh further said that so far 7678 tests of Coronavirus have been conducted out of which 9093 have tested positive.

“The death toll of the province stands at 171,” he added.

Briefing on the situation of patients undergoing treatment, he said that 1096 patients are presently getting treatment for novel Coronavirus.
