Turkey, Pakistan sign MoU for cooperation on trade, customs
A Memorandum of Understanding was inked between Turkey's Ministry of Trade and Federal Board of Revenue on trade facilitation and customs cooperation matters.
The MoU was signed by Turkish Minister of Trade Ruhsar Peckan and Adviser to the Prime Minister on Finance and Revenue Abdul Hafeez Sheikh in Islamabad.
Under the agreement, both countries will enhance cooperation in Electronic Data Exchange and imports, exports and transit operations.
The two countries will also cooperate in combating different smuggling methods and customs offenses.
