Indian-American comedian Hassan Minhaj exposed Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's hypocrisy in his interview on Late Night with Seth Meyers.

Minhaj in his interview explained his plans of attending the rally. He said that he was very exited when he came to know that president Donald Trump was going to deliver the opening speech.

However Minhaj was barred from entering the stadium and was told that he could not be allowed to enter the stadium due to lack of space.

Hassan Minhaj then revealed that later he was told that he was being barred because of his comments on Modi's government on The Patriot act.

Minhaj further said that he then started watching the event on his smartphone outside the stadium.

“So, I’m watching this whole thing on live stream and during the programme, they’re honouring the prominent Indian-Americans who have done so much for our country, be it arts, music or even comedy. And while they’re saying this, they show a photo of me on the big screen and people start clapping!” mocked Minhaj.

Hassan Minhaj mocked the event saying that the reward was just as they were saying that we are proud of you but cannot express our feelings in front of you.
