Accountability Court Islamabad has accepted acquittal petition by PTI leader Babar Awan and Justice (retired) Riaz Kiani in Nandipur Power Project delay reference.

Judge Arshad Malik announced the reserved judgement on the petition for acquittal by five accused on Tuesday.

Application of three other accused, including former Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf, was rejected, while Shahid Rafi and Masood Chisti had not submitted application for acquittal.
